2012 recruit rankings from BNFB

Here at Bearcat Nation Football Blog we have gone in-depth to the 2012 recruiting class head coach, Butch Jones and his staff have put together so far and here according to us here at BNFB are the rankings by stars of those recruits. We hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment on our outlook of this 2012 recruiting class as it stands.

QB- Bennie Coney ****
Coney is by far the top recruit on the offensive side of the ball for the 2012 Bearcats class to date. The 6'2 210 dual-threat from Plant City, FL ranked as the 7th QB by Rivals.com threw for 1,159 yards as a Junior for Plant City HS throwing 12 touchdowns. When you look at Coney, he is a true dual-threat. Adding to those passing statistics he also ran for 360 yards and 5 touchdowns. Bennie has been known to have off the field issues, but coming to a school like Cincinnati where he will have a father like figure head coach in Butch Jones he should succeed very well at UC.
PROJECTION: Coney should see field time as a Sophomore and contend for the starting job as a Junior.

RB- Dennis Norfleet ****
Dennis Norfleet is that diamond in the rough. Standing only 5'7 170 pounds there is no doubt he will have to add 10-15 pounds to his frame to be a 20-25 carries a game back but Norfleet has game breaking ability. The native of Detroit, MI chose the Bearcats over offers from Michigan State and Tennessee. As a Junior at Martin Luther King, Norfleet ran for 1,880 yards and 31 touchdowns.
PROJECTION: Dennis will play as a Freshman and see playing time all four years for the Bearcats.
